About

Our Travel Philosophy: Travel. Relax. Play.

We believe travel should be a blend of adventure, relaxation, and play. It’s about stepping outside your comfort zone, savoring the moment, and connecting with the world in a meaningful way. Whether it’s witnessing the wildebeest migration in Africa, chasing the shadow of the moon during a total solar eclipse, or snorkeling vibrant coral reefs in Belize, our trips are designed to immerse you in the experience.

We travel for the moments that take your breath away—capturing a photo of a leopard chasing a bird through the treetops in Kenya, or the intense gaze of a mother jaguar watching you as she protects her cubs in Brazil. We love to savor the tastes of the world, from fresh seafood at Gwangjang Market in Seoul to a catch-of-the-day snook grilled at our eco-lodge in Belize. We’ve dined on escargot with a view of the Eiffel Tower, enjoyed Dutch oven birthday cake on safari in Tanzania, and shared pizza baked in an authentic Italian oven in Sorrento, just like the ones we saw in Pompeii earlier that day.

Our varied interests—from wildlife photography to culinary adventures—mean we can connect with travelers who share a passion for exploring through their lens or their taste buds. We’ve shopped for Italian wool and cashmere in Venice, found handmade shoes near the Spanish Steps in Rome, and discovered a handcrafted Maya game board at a local market. These are the experiences we treasure, and they’re the ones we aim to share with you.

Why Belize?

We chose Belize as our first destination because it offers an incredible mix of culture, adventure, and natural beauty—all while being accessible and comfortable for travelers from the United States. It’s the only country in Central America where English is the official language, making it easy to navigate and reducing culture shock, especially for first-time international travelers. Belize also uses the US dollar (at a fixed exchange rate of 2 Belizean dollars to 1 USD), which simplifies transactions and adds to the ease of travel.

For Alaskans and West Coast travelers (including Washington, Oregon, and California), Belize is a convenient escape from the winter chill with warm waters that are even warmer than Hawaii. The country’s beautiful beaches, vibrant coral reefs, and lush rainforests offer a range of activities at a more affordable price than a typical Hawaiian vacation, while the travel time and flight logistics are comparable.

Belize is a place where travel expands your perspective. It’s a country where the tallest buildings are ancient pyramids, and where the forest cover is among the highest in Central America (with 62% forest coverage, as seen in NASA’s 2024 satellite images). The country’s commitment to conservation means that the wildlife and marine life are thriving, making it a haven for snorkelers, divers, and nature lovers alike.

Whether you’re exploring the ancient Mayan ruins, snorkeling the Belize Barrier Reef, or enjoying fresh seafood on the beach, Belize offers an immersive experience that’s as adventurous as it is welcoming.

Why Travel With Us?

Traveling from Alaska requires careful planning—after all, it takes 3.5 hours just to reach the Lower 48! With our combined experience and varied interests, we’re experts at creating itineraries that balance adventure, relaxation, and cultural immersion. We know how to navigate logistics, handle the details, and design trips that cater to different preferences, so all you need to do is enjoy the journey.

We’re not just travel planners; we’re fellow explorers who love to share the world’s wonders with others. We’ve hiked from the bottom of the Grand Canyon, snorkeled in the warm waters of Belize, and watched leafcutter ants create highways in the rainforest. We understand that the best travel moments come from embracing new experiences, and we’re here to make sure you have plenty of those moments on every trip.
